Russian Imperial Brass Bell by Videneev Manufactory.

A Russian Imperial period brass bell, produced by the Videneev Manufactory. The bell has a simple cast brass body of traditional form, with a raised suspension loop at the top and an iron clapper inside.

The underside bears a cast manufactory inscription, partly visible in the photographs. The surface shows a warm aged brass tone with patina, dark oxidation spots, rubbing, scratches and traces of use.

This small bell is an interesting example of Russian utilitarian metalwork from the Imperial period and would suit collectors of Russian antiques, bells and early domestic objects.
