Description

An Extremly Rare Russian Cossack Officer’s Sword Shashka Asian Sample 1913 y.

There is no Nickolay II monogram, so it means that it is provisional government. There is some small damges on the blade which you may see on the pictures, and one ring is missing on a scabbard.

But overal condition is very good to the period.

Analysis of the documents suggests that in the period from 1913 to 1917, no more than 100 (approximately) Asian-style officers’ draughts were manufactured in Zlatoust.  All the sabers that have survived to the present day are extremely rare at the museum level.
This rarest of russian shashka would make a top addition to any seriously collection!
