Picault oli v\u00e4ga viljakas kunstnik, kes tootis oma pika skulptuurikarj\u00e4\u00e4ri jooksul ohtralt skulptuure \u2013 kokku \u00fcle 500 modelli. Ta hakkas oma kunstit\u00f6id Salongis n\u00e4itama alates 1863. aastast.[1] Ta allkirjastas suurema osa oma t\u00f6\u00f6dest kui \u201cE.
